This outfit is the perfect pick for that awkward in-between season. Wear this outfit now by adding opaque tights and a leather jacket. Turn winter into spring, by tossing your boots aside and pairing this ensemble with studded sandals.  Don't forget the Victoria Beckham envelope clutch with a pop of red!

Latest Obsession

Leather Shadow Bootie                                                Patent Shadow Bootie

I am absolutely OBSESSED with this bootie made by Jeffrey Campbell. As a fan of the designer (and current owner of his designs), I just love his wild creativity in his footwear. You will cast a shadow in these heel-less platform booties that are a staggering 7 inches, with a 3 inch platform! Patent or classic leather, these booties are the only accessory you will need to pair with your outfit.

Simply Chic With a Little Edge

Sweater: Miu Miu Skirt: Valentino Shoes: Valentino Ring: Loree Rodkin

Nothing, absolutely NOTHING says chic better than Valentino. I fell in love with this skirt paired with a cashmere blend sweater. Mix up your chic look with a few tough and edgy details. To do this, add these pointed, studded wedges and a Loree Rodkin diamond knuckle ring.

The Show-stopper

Shoes: Versace Jumpsuit: Lanvin

This outfit is a definite show-stopper! I love the blend of elegance and sexiness of this Lanvin jumpsuit. This draped jumpsuit is the perfect substitute for the conventional cocktail dress. The ruching detail also makes this piece utterly flattering. For that high-impact look, add these Versace leopard-print calf hair and patent-leather pumps.

The Little Orange Dress

This spring, trade in your little black dress for a little orange dress. Don’t be shy when it comes to your accessories! A bright dress calls for metallic accessories to match. Whether it may be metallic gold, silver, or multi-color, the options are limitless. So go ahead and trade in black for bright!

pop of color

In 2012, ditch your red skinnies and add a pop-of-color with a pair of yellow shorts. Nothing says fun-in-the-sun like yellow! Pair these shorts with this fun, vintage inspired tee. Pull off this 60's inspired look with a fringed bag... definitely a staple. Don't forget a pair of funky sandals!

new year, new shoes

Tom Ford metallic sandals

I rang in the New Year with Tom Ford… killer, metallic heels of course! It was surprising that I was not the only one to celebrate 2012 with the impeccable designer. Another Tom Ford fan sported these heels and danced in the New Year with glistening red on the dance floor. Last year was the year of platforms and chunky heels, but 2012 is all about the feminine stilettos. I know this will not be my last date with Tom!

Add some elegance to their outfit and let technology remain untamed with this animal-print calf hair case!

Loree Rodkin indigo alligator cuff

I'm absolutely sick over this cuff, so of course I had to write a blog post about it! Loree Rodkin is known for her modern, yet medieval take on jewelry designing. You can sense the old world essence within the Hand of Fatima that is encrusted with diamonds and a blue sapphire center. Worn alone, or with stackable bracelets, this cuff is sure to turn some heads!

Event Recap

Happy to announce yet another successful trunk show in the company of great friends! Cissy Jones, Sandy Hutchison, Cheryl Dufault, and I let attendees in on the scoop on what to wear this fall and shared some of our top picks. All dressed in Mark & Estel, the ladies and I were surrounded by tons of treasures from LA and NY to Africa and India.

Pictured above are some of my favorite treasures made by Cheryl Dufault. Cheryl’s creative passion and vision is found in each piece of jewelry she creates. Every item consists of vintage items found from countries ranging, from Nepal to India and Africa. I absolutely love these pearl necklaces strung with an assortment of genuine and stunning artifacts.
